Integral-Shaft Ball Bearings |
|
Each ball bearing comprises
an outer ring, inner ring, balls, retainers, shields and
snap rings. Used in personal computers (PCs) and other
information and telecommunications equipment, ball bearings
are also at work in such household electrical appliances
as air conditioners and video cameras, and in motors for
electronic control systems for automotives and other advanced
applications that require high precision. <Principal
Applications>
PCs, printers, copy machines, air conditioners, video
cameras
|
|
An integral-shaft ball bearing
has two raceways on the shaft, allowing the integration
of the inner ring and shaft of two ball bearings. This
facilitates more precise rotation than is possible with
two independent ball bearings, making integral-shaft ball
bearings particularly suited to applications such as cylinder
units for video cameras. <
Principal Applications>
Cylinder units for digital VCRs, 8-millimeter video cameras |
